UG-CSN/PADA - 2nd International Research Conference September 29-30, 2021

Rapid socio-economic change across the world has reignited considerable interest in context-driven research as a necessary catalyst for growth and socio-economic development. In the face of increased international competition in the global economy, researchers are required to produce relevant and evidence-based research to directly feed national and global policymaking. Academics and researchers alike must thus liaise with relevant stakeholders including civil society organizations and government agencies to chart critical pathways towards addressing the developmental needs of societies. This year’s research conference organized by the University of Ghana Carnegie Scholars Network (UG- CSN) in collaboration with the Pan-Africa Doctoral Academy, University of Ghana, therefore aims at empowering all researchers to envisage the end products of their work as inputs for relevant stakeholders’ and policy implementers’ uptake. The organizing committee, therefore, invites the academic community to join them on September 29- 30, 2021 to share research and ideas on the theme: Quality Research and Mentoring: Keys to Sustainable and Inclusive Development. Broadly, this conference will explore and advance the relevant nexus that ought to exist between research, mentorship, policy intervention and practical implementation towards fast-tracking growth and development in Ghana. We look forward to your constructive input on how we can work together to make research outputs more impactful
